SDC Privacy Policy
The Sydney Datsun Club Inc (SDC) collects personal information that is needed for it to deliver services to its members, and to achieve its purpose.
We promise to respect your privacy and not share your personal information with others without either your express permission or when we are legally required to do so. Other than that, your personal details are kept secure.
Members Database
Under the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000, together with all subsequent amendments and including the Australian Privacy Principles, you are protected by law regarding what information we collect, use and disclose.
The details kept on the Member's Database are open for any member of our Club to view upon request. The details on the Member's Database are wholly and directly collected from partial information (or recorded upon ceasing membership) you provide to the Club on your Member Application Form when joining. This partial information that is placed or recorded on the Member's Register is specifically:
- Your Name
- Your Address
- Your Join Date
- Your Cease Date (if applicable)
Any other details provided on the Member Application Form, and other information collected in the normal course of the Club's activities, is held for internal and statistical purposes only and is available only to authorised committee officers in the function of their committee duties.
You are entitled (to the full extent of the law) to request, know and see whatever personal information the Club has gathered and stored on yourself.
