The best way of finding out more after that, or to start the process of putting your vehicle on one of the schemes, is to come along to an SDC event. To assist the process, be sure to bring along any relevant forms and information as suggested by the TfNSW website, this includes vehicle declaration, Pink/Blue Slip and ideally bring the vehicle along or detailed photos of it (inside and out including engine bay). Some additional steps are required for the CVS, including Compliance/Engineer Certificate, please enquire about these. Note that both schemes do require processing time and you may encounter hurdles during the application process, please respect that this may take some time to complete.

If approved by our club historic plates registrar, the completed declaration should be taken to your local Service NSW office along with your license, a completed Application for Conditional Registration form, and if not already registered under your own name, proof of vehicle ownership (receipt).

Members of the scheme are expected to be active in club events, including monthly meetings.
